AS this was my first surgery i didn't know what to expect, Dr Lamb explained everything that was going to happen etc etc, and with that i felt at ease, after the surgery he explained how it went and the possible outcome, i feel there is nothing they can do to make it any better.

Mr Lamb was extremely helpful when I saw him in clinic as was Nurse Sue Norman who I recently saw in clinic and who remembered me from my first bladder appointment thirteen years ago.

Ben immediately put me at ease and I found his clear explanation of what he was going to do to me very helpful & useful. His demeanor, sense of humour and ability to engage with a patient was a big plus for me, especially since it was the first time in my life ( I am 63) that I had been in hospital to undergo an invasive procedure (Prostate Biopsy). His calm approach to what he was doing made the whole session very pleasant (strange I know) and I would certainly hope to have him as my surgeon if follow-up action is required.

Thank you for your feedback. Although being in hospital is an everyday occurrence for us as healthcare professionals, for patients it can be unfamiliar and intimidating. I am glad that we were able to put you at ease. I do hope that your results are favorable and that we don't need to meet again (if we do be assured that I will look after you :))

Mr Lamb was very kind to me and in all probability saved my life as a result of my prostate cancer diagnosis. I was made aware of the likely effects post operation.

I feel that I could not have been in better hands than with Mr Lamb. He is very friendly and approachable and easy to talk to. My surgery was carried out by Mr Lamb and the care I received from him and his Team has been excellent. I was very well informed by Mr Lamb as to what to expect prior to and following my surgery and can’t thank him enough for taking care of me during this time.
